Whether you’re planning a family expedition, a date, or a solo adventure, the Morris Museum has a range of unique offerings, including groundbreaking exhibitions, educational programs and the Smithsonian Spark!Lab, live performances in the Bickford Theatre, and more. The Morris Museum is the only Smithsonian Affiliate in the State of New Jersey, and we are honored to bring Smithsonian resources and activities to our community. Over 100 years old, the Morris Museum was established in its current location, the historic Twin Oaks mansion, in 1964. Its collection includes Native American artifacts, model trains, dinosaurs, geological specimens, and the world-renowned Guinness Collection of Mechanical Musical Machines and Automata.

The Museum is open Wednesday through Sunday, 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM
