Origami Flower Workshop at the Mendham Township Library

On Thursday, February 6^th, at 7pm, the Mendham Township Library will host an origami flower making workshop with artist, Melissa Mello of Bee Mello Flowers.

Participants will learn the techniques needed to create gorgeous origami flowers that almost look real!

A former architect and New Jersey resident, Melissa Mello’s love of the origami craft began in 2000 when she began volunteering at her children’s schools and would always find herself helping the with the more “crafty” jobs.  Crafts have always felt very therapeutic to Melissa, and as an architect, origami seemed particularly intriguing and interesting. She began creating origami flowers which has lead to a successful Etsy shop.
