Washington Township 2025 Annual Memorial Day Ceremony
Join us for the 2025 Annual Memorial Day Ceremony, hosted by Washington Township Recreation in partnership with the American Veterans Association of Washington Township Post 1776. This meaningful ceremony will honor the brave veterans who sacrificed for our country. Their courage and dedication have shaped the freedoms we enjoy today.
The ceremony will occur on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at the Rock Spring Park Memorial Site in Long Valley. It will begin promptly at 12:00 noon, rain or shine, so we encourage everyone to arrive early. The ceremony will be an opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices made by our nation’s heroes, ensuring their legacy remains alive in our hearts and minds.
We are honored to welcome First Lieutenant Timothy E. Fallon, USMC (Ret.) as our keynote speaker. Lieutenant Fallon’s remarks will offer a heartfelt tribute to veterans and remind us of their service. His words will inspire us to appreciate the freedom we often take for granted. This event provides the perfect setting for our community to come together in remembrance.
Please note that Rock Spring Park will be exclusively reserved for the ceremony and closed to other activities on this day. This ensures a focused and respectful environment for honoring those who served our country. We encourage everyone to stay after the ceremony to connect with fellow community members, share stories, and reflect on the significance of Memorial Day.
