#2: Winter Farmers’ Market from Grow it Green
Another market at the top of our favorites list of things to do in Morris County NJ is The Winter Farmers’ Market. Grow it Green in Morristown offers this wonderful seasonal event where you can celebrate and give thanks with your family. Purchase sustainable and locally grown fruits and vegetables, as well as locally made products to show your community spirit. The market takes place in the parking lot of the Morris Museum from December 6 to March 28 (excluding Dec. 27). The market runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
#3: Rock & Mineral Weekend at the Morris Museum
Enjoy a “rockin’” weekend at the Morris Museum. Shop for treasures with top area mineral, gem, and fossil dealers. Hundreds of specimens, books, jewelry, and more are on sale. Morris Museum Mineralogical Society members will be on hand to identify your rocks and minerals and share information about the club. For those families interested in archaeology, geology, and more, the Morris Museum’s Rock and Mineral weekend is perfect.
#4: Meet Beloved Characters at the Imagine That!!! Museum
At the Imagine That!!! Museum, your kids can engage with their favorite characters from television. There are featured indoor events where Peppa Pig and Skye & Marshall from Paw Patrol will make appearances.
