(Morristown, NJ, December 18, 2024) — Today, Morris Museum launched a digital guide on Bloomberg Connects. This free app created and maintained by Bloomberg Philanthropies will enhance the visitor experience by providing digital access and featuring a variety of content
available to patrons worldwide. Morris Museum joins more than 500 cultural institutions around the globe as a Bloomberg Connects partner. The app is available for download from Google Play or the App Store.
The digital guide makes the Morris Museum content more accessible to onsite and remote visitors through photo, audio, and video features. Our initial guide offers an audio guide featuring permanent collection highlights, video interviews with New Jersey artists in their
studios, expert arts commentary, and way-finding maps, among other digital content.
“We are excited to partner with Bloomberg Connects. This app hosts a variety of content produced by premier cultural institutions like ours around the globe,” said Thomas J. Loughman the Museum’s President and CEO. “Through the app you can watch and hear stories from insiders, read about objects on view, and sharpen your appreciation of our educational and performing arts programming.”
Bloomberg Connects hosts free digital guides to cultural organizations around the world. The app platform is part of Bloomberg Philanthropies’ longstanding commitment to supporting digital innovation in the arts. Bloomberg Connects makes it easy to access and engage with arts
