Inaugural Morris County Harvest Table Brings Local Farms, Culinary Students and Oktoberfest Flavors Together
Farm-to-table celebration on October 1 at County College of Morris will support local agriculture, culinary education and the Morris County Tourism Bureau
MORRIS COUNTY, N.J. — The Morris County Tourism Bureau will host the inaugural Morris County Harvest Table: Oktoberfest on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. at the new Center for Entrepreneurship and Culinary Science at County College of Morris in Randolph. The farm-to-table fundraiser will celebrate Morris County’s agricultural community while showcasing the connections among local farms, culinary education, hospitality and tourism.
County College of Morris culinary students will prepare an Oktoberfest-inspired menu featuring ingredients sourced from farms throughout Morris County. Guests will dine in the Center’s bright new culinary space, meet the people behind the county’s local food, and learn more about farm markets, stands, orchards and attractions to visit.
The evening is designed to elevate local agriculture and seasonal products, encourage farm visitation, and provide CCM culinary students with meaningful real-world experience. It will also strengthen relationships among farmers, educators, hospitality partners, residents and visitors while highlighting agritourism as an important part of the Morris County visitor experience.
The event is presented in partnership with County College of Morris and its culinary program at the Center for Entrepreneurship and Culinary Science. Additional support is made possible through grant funding from the New Jersey Highlands Council awarded to Randolph Township, helping advance programs that celebrate the Highlands region’s local agriculture, community assets and visitor experiences.
Proceeds from the event will support the Morris County Tourism Bureau’s mission to promote Morris County as a destination and connect residents and visitors with the county’s historic, cultural, agricultural, recreational and culinary experiences.
