The Morristown and Morris Township Library presents Hon. Kenneth C. Mackenzie’s in the Library’s Lower Level Meeting Room. The Honorable Mackenzie, a lifelong Morristown resident, will regale the audience with tales about George Washington and the Continental Army’s two winter stays in Morristown. Attendees will learn more about local sites where Washington and his troops stayed, such as the Arnold Tavern, Ford Mansion, and Jockey Hollow and to hear what made Morristown the military capital of the American Revolution.
