Uncovering The Past
Heidi Killen-Raas, an amateur genealogist, was curious about her home in Morristown after receiving a 1852 wall map, uncovering the past. To fill in the blanks, she visited libraries, surrogates’ offices, graveyards, churches, and more, as she says, “I did genealogy on my house!” In this presentation, at The Morristown and Morris Township Library’s Lower Level Meeting Room, Heidi will tell the story she has woven of the land and the families that lived in her home since 1850.
