The Great Big Book Swap After Dark
Welcome to The Great Big Book Swap After Dark! For book lovers and passionate readers! Swap pre-loved books, enjoy music, merch, & treats at this indoor swap with coffee house vibes.
Join us on Saturday, October 10, 2026 from 6:30-9:30pm at the Dover Sportsplex in Dover, NJ for a swap filled with books, music, mocktails, and nightclub vibes.
Swap your old books with fellow readers, meet new authors, savor dance music and tasty mocktails, and dive into the addictive, friendliest challenge to find your next favorite read!
This swap is at night—so bring your glow! Since the house lights will be low, we encourage everyone to come armed with flashlights, book lights, lanterns, or any fun light-up gear so you can hunt for your next great read in style.
The night will include:
-Book swapping (bring your pre-loved books and discover new favorites)
-DJ dance music with a club-style vibe
-Lower lighting (bring a light-up item to help your browse!)
-Delicious mocktails for purchase
-Bookish merch
-Author meetups
-Big selection of books to browse and swap
-Fun, relaxing atmosphere to connect with fellow book lovers!
Whether you’re a bookworm or just looking for a new read, this event is perfect for everyone. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to swap, shop, and share the joy of reading!
