Experience the Tesla Quartet on the Back Deck

Now in its 16th season, the Tesla Quartet continues to captivate audiences across North America and Europe. Recent highlights include their debut at Lincoln Center, a return to London’s Wigmore Hall, and a performance at Stanford University’s Bing Concert Hall as recipients of the John Lad Prize.

Their international tours have taken them to Brazil, China, and South Korea, while notable festival appearances include the Banff Centre, Haydn Festival at Esterházy Palace, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival, and Festival Sesc de Música de Câmara in São Paulo.

Back Deck Visitor Information

• Bring your own chairs and refreshments.

• Tickets: $63 for an 8’x8’ block (2 patrons) or $33 for one.

• $3 handling fee included.

• Concerts begin at 7:30 PM. Arrive at 6:30 PM to picnic.

• In case of bad weather, concerts move indoors to the Bickford Theatre (general admission).

Since launching in 2020, The Back Deck has hosted over 72 performances, drawing more than 11,000 patrons. The series presents both established and emerging artists, with many receiving national recognition.
