Succulents of the Western Cape at the Mendham Township Library
On Monday, July 8 at 1pm, the Mendham Township Library will host Succulents of the Western Cape. We will be joined by lifelong plant lover and photographer Jeff Sedwin.
We all know what carefully manicured and potted African succulents look like. What do they look like in the wild? This fascinating presentation is based on Jeff Sedwin’s extensive travel in South Africa’s Western Cape region and the Kleine Karoo in the country’s south. Organized by genus, you’ll see plants in the wild and how they differ from home-grown plants. This presentation was a big hit at last year’s Philadelphia Cactus and Succulent Society’s April meeting.
Jedd Sedwin takes us on a lively journey to South Africa and explores the Succulents of the Western Cape.
This program will be held in the Brookside Community Church’s Scialla Hall at 8 East Main Street in Brookside, NJ.
