Spring Encampment at Jockey Hollow 2025
On Saturday, May 3, and Sunday, May 4, Revolutionary War re-enactors from across the northeast will gather at Jockey Hollow for Morristown National Historical Park’s annual Spring Encampment. This immersive weekend event highlights the daily lives of Continental soldiers and camp followers during the Revolutionary War. Throughout the weekend, visitors can explore the sights and sounds of a recreated 18th-century military encampment. Demonstrations will include musket drills, military inspections, cooking, sewing, and other camp chores. Younger guests are invited to take part in the “children’s muster,” where they’ll be taught how to march and drill like Revolutionary soldiers.
