Spring at the Farm at Ayres Knuth Farm – Pathways of History
The Ayres/Knuth Farm Foundation in Denville will participate in Pathways of History on May 3rd from noon to 5pm, celebrating “Spring at the Farm.”
There will be activities and information for all ages.
At noon, a Rutgers Master Gardener will speak on Invasive Plants. Other activities or displays through part or all of the day will be a Tractor Display, Art and Science workshop, the Denville Beautification Committee, the Morris County Mosquito Commission, the Denville Library, and Seeds provided by Tractor Supply. Come, see, and learn about the Farm, science, and nature. Then stop at the Union Hill Farms stand for some beautiful plants!
The Farm at 25 Cooper Road in Denville is listed on the Morris County Heritage Commission and both the State and National Registers of Historic Places. It is a working farm, operated continuously since first settled, and is one of the most complete remaining examples of a 19th century agricultural complex in Morris County.
Pathways of History is an annual weekend featuring free tours of 30 historic sites over 20 municipalities in Morris County.
