On Thursday, September 24 th at 7 pm, join historic program presenter Joan Schaible as she presents Remember the Ladies at the Mendham Township Library. Before and during the American Revolution, women rose to the cause individually and collectively! They first took action against British taxes and the limits on daily needs. Once the conflict began, women served troops as camp followers, rallied as spies, secretly delivered important messages, and even took up arms in battle. Join Joan Schaible as she explores some of these amazing ladies and discover their contributions in the fight for independence.
