Members of the legendary Orpheus Chamber Players: Nocturnal Serenade will serenade audiences on the Back Deck at the Morris Museum with this program of famous quartets and trios. Music depicting the natural world of forests and insects will weave through Mozart’s iconic oboe quartet and Dohnanyi’s virtuosic string Serenade, all in a concert perfect for a late summer night. Orpheus Chamber Orchestra is a radical experiment in musical democracy, proving for over fifty years what happens when exceptional artists gather with total trust in each other and faith in the creative process.

Back Deck Visitor Information and Guidelines

Attendees must bring their own chairs and are welcome to bring refreshments. Patrons are welcome to arrive as early as 6:30 PM to enjoy their picnics. In the event of inclement weather, outdoor performances will be held in the Museum’s Bickford Theatre, general admission.
