Jonathan Appell, a nationally renowned gravestone restoration expert, will be returning to Orchard Street Cemetery in Dover for a special educational event. Mr. Appell previously visited the cemetery in 2020, where he shared his extensive knowledge of historic gravestone preservation and demonstrated professional cleaning and restoration techniques. During this return visit, attendees will learn about the importance of cemetery conservation, proper gravestone cleaning methods, and best practices for preserving historic monuments for future generations. The event is free and open to the public.
