New Jersey Militia in the War for Independence

On Tuesday, April 7 th at 7pm, join military historian, John Dwyer as he presents The New Jersey Militia in the War for Independence at the Mendham Township Library. Join John Dwyer as he takes us back in history portraying a solider serving in the Continental Army. John will explore the role the New Jersey militia played in the Revolutionary War. Audience members will get an up-close, hands-on experience as John passes around typical gear and belongings of a solider. He will also discuss militia training, Tories in New Jersey, the raid on Flemington, stopping the London Trade, and American privateers.
