Motivated by a desire for unconventional career paths and a thirst for cultural immersion, Virginia embarked on her journey with the Peace Corps, seeking both professional development and a unique life experience in Peru. As an integral part of a rigorous 27-month program, Virginia resides with a local host family while undertaking vital community health initiatives. Engaged fully in the fabric of Peruvian society, she actively participates in communal festivities and gatherings.
