Morristown Festival of Books Keynote Event
Join us for our Keynote Event with Fareed Zakaria, host of CNN’s Fareed Zakaria GPS, journalist, and author. Zakaria will discuss his New York Times best-seller, AGE OF REVOLUTIONS: Progress and Backlash from 1600 to the Present, in conversation with author, historian, and filmmaker Jonathan Alter.
How can history’s revolutions help us better understand today’s challenges? In his major new work, Zakaria explores the pivotal revolutions that have shaped world history—from the economic revolution of the seventeenth-century Dutch Golden Age to the Industrial Revolution in nineteenth-century Britain and America—and examines how the current revolutions in globalization, technology, identity, and geopolitics can provide lessons to overcome all challenges.
Join us on Friday, October 18, 2024, 7:30pm, at Mayo Performing Arts Center, for this not-to-be-missed Keynote Fundraiser Event!
Tickets are $60 – $100 and include a signed hardcover copy of Age of Revolutions.
