Morris Plains Pumpkin Illumination
Morris Plains Pumpkin Illumination
Friday, October 30
6pm at Morris Plains Merchant Block, Morris Plains
Bring your carved jack-o’-lantern and watch downtown Morris Plains glow at the annual Pumpkin Illumination! Add your pumpkin to the Grand Illumination Display and watch it grow throughout the evening (there’s a surprise in store when the display hits 100 pumpkins!). This free, family-friendly evening celebrates the businesses of Morris Plains, with dozens of local shops selling their products, offering giveaways and connecting with neighbors along Speedwell Avenue.
Catch a live pumpkin carving demo by Dail’s Pumpkins, cast your vote in the Business Pumpkin Contest, where 20+ pumpkins carved by local businesses compete for the 2026 pumpkin trophies, and enjoy live music from The Counterfeiters as you stroll the marketplace. Kids’ activities and a photo booth add to the fun.
Stop by the Jack-O’-Tavern for craft beer from Autodidact Beer, and grab dirty sodas from Scoop Station and bites from Chick-fil-A Morris Plains, Time for a Bagel and Bakeology by Sue, all available for purchase.
