Makerspace at the METC

Makerspace at the METC

Join us for an exciting, creativity-packed day at the Makerspace at the METC! On the first Saturday of every month, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., bring the whole family to the METC Education Annex, located at 23 Main Street, Madison, NJ, and dive into a world of hands-on projects and imaginative exploration! Whether you’re winding down after a visit to the Museum or looking for a fun, interactive experience, the Makerspace at the METC offers endless possibilities for kids ages 5 to 12.

In this dynamic, kid-friendly space, children can explore creativity and build problem-solving skills through a range of engaging activities. For example, kids can create custom designs on a 3D printer, construct with Legos, design unique jewelry pieces, and even experiment with our marble run and coding robots. Our collaborative workspace is perfect for sparking curiosity, allowing young minds to dive into STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) activities in a supportive and engaging environment that inspires learning.

So, don’t miss out on the chance to experience the Makerspace at the METC and make lasting memories with your family. Please note that children must be accompanied by a guardian at all times for a safe and enjoyable experience. At only $10 per family, this is an affordable and enriching way to spend your Saturday together!
