About the Evening
Check in: 6:30pm
First film begins: 7:00pm
The animated award-winners are “Bolero Station” by Rolf Brönnimann, Zürich Switzerland, the touching story of two people who wait until their impending death to seize the chance to be together, and “A Tale of Two Weddings” by Candy Kugel of New York City, chronically the seemingly impossible task of attending two family obligations.
The documentaries both come from filmmakers in Los Angeles: “Inside the Beauty Bubble” by Cheryl Bookout and Cheri Gaulke, a film that reminds us that it is sometimes the strong people on the margins that hold a community together, and “One All the Way” by David Baram. This documentary follows three elderly men as they search for the world’s greatest Hot Texas Weiner and along the way discover how their hometown of Paterson, New Jersey has changed.
The Chester Library is located at 250 West Main Street in Chester, New Jersey. The films are free but registration is encouraged.
