Madison Green & Clean
The Madison Downtown Development Commission launched a total refresh of the event formerly known as May Day last year, and the event is now called Madison Green & Clean.
It will occur on Saturday, April 27, from 9:00 to 2:00 pm. The rain date will be Sunday, April 28, 9:00 am – 2:00 pm.
The event will be relatively similar to what it has been in the past but better! The format will now focus on environmental and Green initiatives. Here is some of what will be included:
>Arbor Day Celebration – Event Kickoff
>StoryWalk Project with the Madison Public Library – “We are the Water Protectors” by Carole Lindstrom
>Entertainment
>Volunteer for Townwide Spring Clean Up, approximately fifteen sites throughout Town
>Native Plant Sale with Toadshade Wildflower Farm
>EV Expo (11:00 am – 4:00 pm)
>Other Green Events: Coming Soon!
This concept began with a town-wide volunteer cleanup effort in 1998. Residents, businesses, organizations, and civic groups participate in this annual event every year. Streets and parks are cleaned, trash is removed, and truckloads of mulch are spread. These activities will continue.

Title Sponsor – Place our logo on a 6’x 3′ banner as the title sponsor, and send the logo as a JPEG or Vector file. A minimum donation of $1,000.00 is required.
Logo Sponsor – Place our company logo on a 24 x 36 outdoor sign and/or T-shirt. Send the logo as a JPEG or Vector file. A minimum donation of $500.00 is required.
Banner/T-shirt Sponsor – Place our name on an outdoor banner and/or T-shirt. A minimum donation of $250 is required.
Flower Basket Donor – You can also choose to be a Flower Basket Donor for $100.00 or donate any amount you choose.
