Local History Lecture Series: In the Beginning

Join us for the NEW lecture series about local history sponsored by the Mendham Township Historic Preservation Committee. The Local History Lecture Series will take place on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month at 7pm from September–December.

On Thursday, September 3rd at 7 pm, join Mendham Township Historic Preservation Committee Vice Chair, Sam Tolley, as he explores the beginning history of what is now Mendham Township.  The time spans, starting with the Lenni Lenape, English, and Quakers, through the first breakup with Randolph, will be covered, along with a few other interesting topics, like where the name Mendham originated.
