History Lunch Break: The St. Cecilia Window
History Lunch Break: The St. Cecilia Window
Morris County Historical Society’s breathtaking St. Cecilia Window comes with not one, but three fascinating stories.
Commissioned by the Cranes of Acorn Hall in memory of their daughter, Mary, and placed in Morristown’s Church of the Redeemer in 1886, the remarkable window has significant ties to early titan of American stained glass John La Farge, local history, and a poignant story of love and loss.
