History in Motion Car Show

History in Motion Car Show

Join Us for the History in Motion Car Show

Join the Morris County Historical Society at The Westin Governor Morris for our first annual “History in Motion Car Show.” This exciting event will feature a variety of classic cars, muscle cars, antique cars, hot rods, and exotic vehicles. It’s a fundraiser that supports MCHS while celebrating the history of automobiles.

Live Music and Entertainment

Additionally, music will be provided by Denville’s Golden Gup, who will perform from his custom pink 1965 Ford F-100. His unique sound will surely enhance the event’s vibrant atmosphere, making it even more memorable for attendees.

Explore Historic Artifacts at Acorn Hall

Next door, at Acorn Hall, attendees can explore artifacts from MCHS’s collection. Among the highlights are a spindle seat carriage, a one-horse open sleigh, a high-wheel bicycle, and an ice sled. This offers a great opportunity to experience the evolution of transportation and gain insight into the past.

Local History Exhibits and Displays

Local historians and historical societies will also present exhibits and displays related to Morris County’s rich history. This will help attendees better understand the area’s past and the role transportation played in shaping it over the years.

Free Admission and Car Registration

Best of all, admission to the “History in Motion Car Show” is free. This makes the event accessible and enjoyable for all ages. We encourage you to register your car for the show and take part in celebrating the unique stories behind these historic vehicles.

Special Thanks to Our Sponsors

Finally, we would like to thank our sponsors, The Westin Governor Morris, Clyde Paul, and Ryan Dawson. Their generous support makes this event possible, and we appreciate their involvement in bringing “History in Motion” to life!
