History Gaming Series – A Battle of Gettysburg

On Sunday, September 27th at 2 pm, join Historical Miniatures Gaming Society Next Gen Gaming as they present the
interactive tabletop History Gaming Series featuring A Battle of Gettysburg at the Mendham Township Library. The Battle of Gettysburg was a crucial battle and the turning point in the Civil War.  Step back in time as Historical Miniatures Gaming Society (HMGS) and Next Gen Gaming bring General Lafayette McLaws’s July 2, 1863 attack on the Peach Orchard to you!

Confederate General Lafayette McLaws’s division attacked the Union left flank as part of General Longstreet’s assault resulting in some of the fiercest fighting of the second day of the Battle of Gettysburg.  Now you too can be part of the action! Participants will use dice and strategy to move their soldiers about on a realistic tabletop 3D reproduction of the battlefield in hopes to win the day.
