Kean Skylands is pleased to announce an exceptional opportunity to enhance your skills with a Hands-on Drone Training Program! The training takes place at the beautiful Kean Skylands campus, nestled within the stunning 1,180-acre Kittatinny Valley State Park in Oak Ridge, NJ.

Drone technology is transforming industries, such as emergency management, engineering, environmental sciences, business, photography, and more. This comprehensive program is designed for individuals interested in pursuing these careers. With up to six hours of flight time in a picturesque and inspiring setting, participants will not only gain hands-on experience but will also receive a thorough understanding of FAA regulations governing drone operations. This course will thoroughly prepare you for the FAA Part 107 exam and the Remote Pilot Certificate.

Participants will have the opportunity to fly three different types of drones:

• The DJI Mini (beginner-friendly)
• The DJI Mavic (commonly used across industries)
• The DJI Matrice (an industrial drone equipped with thermal imaging)
