Family Promise of Morris County Presents the Homebound Hustle 5K & 1 Mile Walk

What is the Homebound Hustle?

On Saturday, November 4, 2023, Family Promise of Morris County is hosting our 3rd Annual Steve Hammond Homebound Hustle 5K & 1-Mile Walk to end homelessness and increase housing stability in our community. Lace up your running shoes and join us on this beautiful, scenic cross country course, located in Central Park of Morris County!

By walking or running, you’re supporting our most vulnerable community members. All funds raised will further our mission to end homelessness and housing insecurity in Morris County.

Check In and On-Site Registration: 9:00am – 9:45am

5K Run Starts: 10:00am

1-Mile Walk Starts: 10:15am

What’s included in the registration fee?

• Participation in our Homebound Hustle 5K or 1-Mile Walk
• First 200 registrants receive an event t-shirt
• Awards ceremony for top three finishers by age group
• Post-race refreshments

Location:

The Homebound Hustle 5K & 1 Mile Walk will take place in Central Park of Morris County, which is located at 1 Gov. Chris Christie Drive in Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ. Upon entering the park, please follow signs for our event.

Event Parking: There are two parking lots on N Cottage Street in Central Park. Our event will take place across the street, near the corner of N Cottage Street and Central Ave.

About Family Promise:

Family Promise’s mission is to mobilize community resources and people to end the crisis of homelessness and housing instability faced by families and individuals by providing a continuum of services leading to independence. The agency has proudly served the community for over three decades with a commitment to improving housing, economic, health and wellness outcomes through their Shelter, Housing and Outreach Programs. In 2022, over 2,000 individuals were served across programs.
