There will be three painting sessions, open to artists of all skill levels and all ages. (Children 13+ can help paint the mural, while other activities will be provided for younger children.)
📅 Date: July 25th to July 27th
📍 Location: The Richards Basement, 10 N Warren St, Dover, NJ
Artist: Dan Fenelon
Coordinator: Core Creative Placemaking
Painting sessions dates and times:
Thursday, July 25: 3pm to 6pm
Friday, July 26: 3pm to 6pm
Saturday, July 27: 11am to 2pm
For this special project the community is invited to work with a professional muralist to paint a community mural that will be displayed in the Richards building. The mural is coordinated by Core Creative Placemaking and led by Morris County Artist Dan Fenelon sponsored by West Morris Capital. The three-piece panel mural will be a collage style painting paying homage to Dover’s rich cultural history built in collaboration with community members exploring the notion “what is the essence of Dover – Past, Present, and Future”!
