Civil War Weekend at Fosterfields

Join the 2nd NJ Brigade and other volunteers as they re-enact the Battle of Lookout Mountain for Civil War Weekend at Fosterfields Living Historical Farm in Morristown, on Saturday and Sunday, November 4th and 5th. Witness skirmishes, see cannon demonstrations, and talk to reenactors about their camp and equipment. Tour The Willows 1854 mansion, which was built by Joseph Warren Revere, who would go on to fight in the Civil War with the 7th New Jersey. The home was later purchased in 1881 for a dairy farm by Charles Foster, another Civil War veteran, who renamed the property Fosterfields. Visit the Jersey cows, goats, chickens, and other farm animals, and step inside the historic 1915 farmhouse. Hours of admission are 10 am to 3 pm with a fee of $10/person. Ages 2 & under are free.
