Autumn Fest
Autumn Fest
The Stickley Museum at Craftsman Farms, the early 20th-century home of Gustav Stickley, will host Autumn Fest, a private Open House, on Saturday, October 4, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Autumn Fest will spread across the Craftsman Farms property and feature a range of activities. Guests can enjoy tethered hot air balloon rides (weather permitting), open house access to the Log House and North Cottage, a complimentary glass of prosecco, and a VIP discount in The Craftsman Shop. Visitors can also watch live plein air painting and bring home a custom letterpress printmaking souvenir. This event is for adults only, and all attendees must be 21 or older.
The museum will offer hot air balloon rides from the main lawn, giving guests views of the remaining 30 acres of Craftsman Farms. VIP shopping will take place in The Craftsman Shop, completed in 2024, which features custom jewelry, home décor items, the museum’s new children’s book, and other favorites.
Docents will welcome guests throughout the Log House, North Cottage, and landscape. They will share stories about the property’s history and its significance in the Arts and Crafts movement. Built in 1911, the Log House stands as one of the most important architectural achievements of that movement. Originally designed as a clubhouse, it became the Stickley family home and remains the heart of the property.
Autumn Fest will lead into The Harvest Party, the museum’s largest annual fundraiser, later that evening. Advance registration is required for both events.
