Artist Workshop with Cat Doty

Join us in the Education Annex on Saturday February 21, at 1PM with Book Arts Roundtable Artist and Poet Cat Doty.  In this adult workshop, you will create a “square page” with poetry, collage, cartoon, lettering, or graphic design. Come experiment with art with us!

About the Artist: A native of Paterson, New Jersey, Catherine Doty is a poet, educator and cartoonist. Her first poetry collection, Momentum, was published in 2004 by CavanKerry Press and received a ForeWord Magazine Book of the Year Award. Her second volume of poems from CavanKerry, Wonderama, was published in 2021 and awarded the 2022 Paterson Poetry Prize. She is the recipient of fellowships and awards from the National Endowment for the Arts, the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, the New York Foundation for the Arts, the Academy of American Poets, and other organizations.

For ages 16 and up. All materials will be provided.
