Join local historian Joel Farkas as he explores the Revolutionary War in his American Revolution Lecture Series.  Each week, Joel will take an in-depth look at the events, people, and places critical to the War for Independence.

Monday, July 13th The Road to Revolution (1753-1776)
From the Age of Antiquity and the first democracies to the Age of Sail and Christopher Columbus.  Includes the colonizing of America, the French and Indian War and George Washington, to the taxes, the protests, the violence, and the call to arms.

Monday, July 20th The Revolutionary War (1775-1783)
From the Second Continental Congress and the Declaration of Independence to the people and events, including Paul Revere’s Ride, Lexington and Concord, Bunker Hill, Washington Crossing the Delaware, and New Jersey.

Monday, July 27th After The Revolutionary War (1783-1815)
Establishing our country with a new constitution and first President, George Washington.  From the American Revolution to the French Revolution to the War of 1812.
