Join us at Grow It Green Morristown’s Urban Farm for a FREE family event dedicated to bringing all ages
together in an outdoor farm celebration on September 19th, from 3-6 pm (Rain Date Sept. 20). Children can visit educational stations around the farm and explore plants, flowers, bees, and more. Guests can bring a chair or blanket and settle into the field for an afternoon of live music, delicious local food, farm exploration, face painting and caricatures, flower crowns and family-friendly games and activities.
Enjoy free pizza from Millie’s Old World Pizza & Meatballs and other food for sale including ice cream, a food truck, and a new addition, our Gazpacho Contest! Participants can buy a Grow it Green mug and sample delicious gazpacho from local chefs and restaurants, including Jersey Artisan Co., The Artist Baker, and Oldwick Soup Co. Tasters can then cast a vote for their favorite recipe! We will also have a local celebrity Judging Panel featuring Instagram’s very own Ms. Morristown, Morris Twp. Councilwoman and Grow It Green Co-founder Samantha Rothman, Superintendent of the Morris School District Dr. Anne Mucci, co-owner of Coniglio’s Shaelyn Brand, and Farmer Shaun of Grow it Green. Celebrity Judge and Public Choice winners will be announced live at the festival.
