A Christmas Carol Reading at Ayres/Knuth Farm
Celebrate the Season with A Christmas Carol Reading at Ayres/Knuth Farm
The Ayres/Knuth Farm Foundation invites you to a special holiday event—A Christmas Carol Reading at Ayres/Knuth Farm. On Saturday, December 7, the historic Ayres/Knuth farmhouse at 25 Cooper Road in Denville will host two live performances of Charles Dickens’ timeless classic, A Christmas Carol. NYC actor and writer Mike Sause will take on the role of Ebenezer Scrooge, bringing the beloved story to life. Produced by Valerie Caniglia, this event offers an intimate experience that will engage audiences of all ages. You can choose from two performance times: 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM, allowing families, children, and adults to attend at their convenience.
An Unforgettable Holiday Experience
This A Christmas Carol Reading at Ayres/Knuth Farm provides a unique opportunity to enjoy live theater in a historic and cozy setting. The farmhouse, listed on both the New Jersey and National Historic Registers, sets the perfect backdrop for Dickens’ classic tale. After the performance, you can stroll through the charming property and soak in the holiday spirit. Moreover, parking will be available on the grass within the horseshoe driveway—please refrain from parking directly in the driveway to maintain accessibility.
Annual Tree Sale to Support Preservation Efforts
In addition to the performances, the Ayres/Knuth Farm Foundation will hold its Annual Tree Sale at the Union Hill Farms farmstand from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on December 7. The sale features a variety of holiday trees, wreaths, roping, and tree stands, offering something special for your home. Your purchase will directly support the Foundation’s restoration and preservation work, which keeps this historic site alive for future generations.
