Mr. Husk served as a Private in the Morris County Militia under Captain Josiah Hall during the Revolutionary War. The Husk farmhouse still stands at 263 Main Road in Montville, a lasting reminder of his role in the area’s early history. Mr. Husk died in 1787, and although his burial site remains unknown, his contributions to Morris County’s Revolutionary legacy endure.
