Schubertiade
Our 2023 concert series concludes with a program to celebrate the music of Franz Schubert (1797-1828). Following his beautiful solo program last spring, the library is happy to welcome back pianist Itay Goren, who will be joined by members of the Madison String Quartet, Evelyn Estava (violin) and Gerall Hieser (cello). The program will include two, late works from 1827: the Notturno in Eb, D. 897 and the Piano Trio No. 2 in Eb, D. 929.
This performance is not to be missed as it is one of the few Schubertiades to appear on the fall concert calendar in New Jersey.
Admission is free. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors open to the public at 1:30 PM.
