Thomas Kinney House
Born in Carling, or West Kilbride, Ayrshire, Scotland April 9, 1731, Mr. Kinney served as Captain of the Troop of Light Horse Militia (Eastern Battalion). Mr. Kinney died in Morristown on April 2, 1893 and is buried there in the First Presbyterian Churchyard. His house, later sold to Stephen Vail, remains standing as the “Vail House” in Historic Speedwell Village.
