Morristown, NJ (Sept 1, 2025) – The Morris County Economic Development Alliance, operating as the Morris County Tourism Bureau (MCTB), has announced the release of a new Request for Proposal (RFP) inviting qualified firms to develop a comprehensive branding and marketing campaign for agritourism in Morris County. Proposals are due by October 10, 2025, with an anticipated award announcement on October 31, 2025.
The goal of this initiative is to strengthen the visibility of Morris County’s farms and specialty crop producers, while showcasing the area’s growing agritourism opportunities. The project will create a county-wide campaign designed to attract both local residents and visitors from surrounding metropolitan regions.
Key deliverables include:
- Development of a new agritourism brand identity, including logo, tagline, and messaging framework
- Creation of a dedicated agritourism landing page with an interactive farm trail map on https://morristourism.org
- A printed and digital Morris County Farm Guide
- A redeemable farm passport or punch card to encourage multi-farm visitation
- A comprehensive campaign rollout strategy
The project also seeks to address challenges faced by local farms, such as limited access to new markets and seasonal visibility. By clustering experiences and promoting year-round offerings, Morris County aims to increase farm visits, boost multi-farm tourism, and enhance rural economic development.
“Our farms are a vital part of Morris County’s identity and economy,” said Meghan Hunscher, President and CEO of the Morris County Chamber of Commerce. “This campaign will give them the visibility they deserve, while providing residents and visitors with new ways to explore and enjoy local agriculture.”
The budget for the project is capped at $25,000, inclusive of planning, design, and execution deliverables. Proposals will be evaluated on experience, creativity, cost-effectiveness, and ability to meet project timelines.
Interested firms must submit proposals in accordance with the full RFP, available through the Morris County Tourism Bureau website at https://morristourism.org/rfps-studies/.
