About Richard Lloyd:
Richard Lloyd, a renowned guitarist, singer, and songwriter, is best known as a founding member of the iconic rock band Television. After studying drums with notable musicians like William Kessler and Velvert Turner in his teens, Richard helped form Television in 1973. The band released two groundbreaking albums, Marquee Moon and Adventure, with Marquee Moon remaining a timeless classic since its debut in 1977, continuously celebrated as one of the greatest rock albums of all time.

In addition to his work with Television, Richard has collaborated with various artists, including Matthew Sweet and John Doe from the band X. His solo discography features albums such as Alchemy, Field of Fire, Real Time, The Cover Doesn’t Matter, The Radiant Monkey, and The Jamie Neverts Story. Richard also dedicates time to teaching aspiring guitarists in his New York City studio and produces other talented acts, making a lasting impact on the music community.
