Things To Do With Kids
Morris County has a lot to offer the younger crowd. Boasting New Jersey's largest park system, there are 18,000 acres of passive and active recreation sites including hike and bike trails, lakes, indoor skating, boating and historic sites. Not to be missed is the Fosterfields Living Historical Farm to learn about 19th century farming, and a number of local farm producers who offer fruit picking and hay rides throughout the year. The Whippany Railway Museum, the Morris Museum and the Museum of Early Trades & Crafts offer fascinating programs and workshops to young learners.
