Morris County and Morristown NJ offers much in the way of historic getaways, cultural heritage, parks and recreation, wedding and banquet facilities, meeting spaces, cultural venues and events.
The Morris Museum, the Stickley Museum at Craftsman Farms, Revolutionary War sites and Morristown National Historical Park are just a few of the world class attractions that we have to offer travelers to New Jersey. Ideally located 25 miles west of New York City, Morris County makes a perfect location for a diverse vacation with your family.
Start the summer right with Morris Arts’ 30th annual Giralda Music and Arts Festival, Sunday, June 23, 2013, held at Giralda Farms Corporate Park, Dodge Drive/Madison Ave. (Rt. 124) in Madison. Where else but at Giralda can you hear the state’s top orchestra, the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, browse an Art Show and Sale, win a fabulous prize at a picnic contest, watch your children enjoy special arts activities, indulge your dessert cravings at the fully stocked antique ice cream truck or just enjoy relaxing on the beautiful lawns of Giralda Farms (the former Dodge estate). Even weather won’t matter since the spacious rainsite at Mennen Sports Arena, 161 East Hanover Ave., Morristown can accommodate the entire event – from the concert to the hands-on arts activities, art show & sale and even picnics.
